The rules for this site and for the campaign's calls and text messages.

These terms cover votecodyrose.com and the text messaging program run by Citizens for Cody Rose ("the campaign", "we", "us").
Mobile Terms and Conditions
- Program. Citizens for Cody Rose campaign calls and texts. When you check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive calls and text messages, including autodialed and automated calls and texts, from Citizens for Cody Rose at the number you gave.
- What we send. Campaign updates, election and voting reminders, volunteer and event information, and requests for contributions. Donations may be solicited.
- Consent is optional. Checking the box is not required to submit a form, to volunteer, to request a sign, or to support the campaign in any way.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies and may increase close to Election Day.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. The campaign does not charge for messages.
- Stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one message confirming it, and no more after that.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message, email [email protected], or call or text (706) 973-7697.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. SMS opt-in will not be sold, rented, or shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy.
- Your number. You confirm the number you give is yours. If you change or give up the number, reply STOP first or tell us.
Using this site
This site is published by Citizens for Cody Rose to inform voters about Cody Rose's write-in candidacy for Sheriff of Marion County, Illinois. You may read it, share it, link to it, and print the handouts for personal and campaign volunteer use.
Do not use the site's forms to submit false information, information about another person without their permission, or automated submissions.
Voting information
Voting instructions on this site are provided as a convenience. The Marion County Clerk and Recorder is the election authority and the official source for registration, deadlines, polling places, and how write-in votes are counted: 101 E. Main Street, Salem, IL 62881, (618) 548-3852.
The "Ask about Cody" box
Answers from the question box are generated automatically from the pages of this site. They can be incomplete or wrong. The pages themselves, and the County Clerk for anything about voting, are the authority.
Contributions
Contributions are processed by Anedot and are subject to Illinois contribution limits and reporting rules. Contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Other sites
We link to sites we do not control, such as the County Clerk, the State Board of Elections, Facebook, and Anedot. Their terms and privacy policies apply there.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
